2010, begin.
Welcome to the land of 2010.
In 2009:
January: I read my first thousand comics.
February: I celebrated my first valentines day with the man I love.
March: I went the furthest west I've ever been, Las Vegas.
April: I had the happiest day of my life.
May: I had the saddest day of my life.
June: I became a Target lady.
July: I made amends.
August: I saw my love, and the love of my friends.
September: I got overwhelmed.
October: I made my own costume.
November: I made new friends.
December: I looked back and looked forward.
In 2010.
We now have flying cars, butler robots and a cure for global warming
Okay, so maybe not. But, its going to be a good year. (Perhaps The Black Eyed Peas should change their song "I Gotta Feeling" to change the lyrics to "that this year's gonna be a good year" -- note to self, contact BEP agents.)
But really, it is going to be a good year. This year I'm graduating (hopefully) from college with many close friends. A week later, I'll be wearing a different gown (no cap though) as I walk down the aisle to marry my best friend. Just two weeks later, my sister Steph is graduating from high school with more honorary cords than I think I've ever seen before. All summer and winter Jake and I will be figuring out married life and living it up.
In short, I've got a lot to look forward to.
2009 was a great year. I posted this in a note on facebook:

My dreams will come true.
With a running start, I say good luck 2010. I love you already.
